Home sales went up and prices declined in three of four Round Rock ZIP codes in December, according to data from the Austin Board of Realtors.

Across all four ZIP codes, there were 154 homes sold in December 2023, compared to 143 sold in December 2022. This differs from the trends industry experts are seeing across Williamson County, as there were 872 homes sold in the county in December, which is 10.1% less than December 2022.
The median price of homes across the market dropped 8.3% year over year, reaching $405,000 in December. The largest number of homes sold—82—were in the $300,000-$499,000 price range.
Meanwhile, the time homes spent on the market changed little. In December 2023, homes spent an average of 57 days on the market compared to 60 in December 2022.
