With a sweet aroma from a Sweet Grace candle and country music, Tammy Kay’s Boutique creates an inclusive shopping atmosphere for Round Rock community members.

Owner Tammy Munguia originally operated the space as a cheer gym before opening the boutique on Sept. 6, 2014, as ATC Boutique-Pretty in Pink.
The store offers clothing, home goods, gifts and shoes. While the boutique started with customers from Munguia’s cheer gym, she said nowadays shoppers include everyone from ages 20 to 80 years old.

2. Round Rock parents find supportive community space at Tot Box Play Cafe
As an indoor playground and coffee shop, Tot Box Play Cafe in Round Rock has invited parents and children to find community in its comforting space since November 2023.
Owner Suzette Reynoso-Bivens became a mother in 2021 and felt a lack of support after moving away from home in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With support from her family and friends, she opened the business on Mays Street and began offering reservation times for interested individuals to experience the space. While she was inspired to create the cafe after her own experiences, Reynoso-Bivens said the project has manifested into something greater than she imagined.

3. 3rd Level Brewing shapes space for all things nerd and beer in Round Rock
What started as a podcast dedicated to sharing love for local craft beer amongst friends has turned into a meeting ground for comic, anime, video game, movies and television fanatics on one of Round Rock’s busiest roads.
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere
Customers can find a variety of beers named after references such as Slim Chance, an American light lager; Shell Shocked, a sour, fruited beer; and Dead Horse, an IPA with citrus and tropical flavors. Half of the taps are available throughout the year while the other half is constantly changing.
For those not interested in beer, the brewery offers a handful of canned ciders, wines and non-alcoholic options.

The backstory
After years of working as an acupuncturist at a solo practice in Round Rock, owner Charleen Whipple opened The Point Wellness in June 2021.
Patients can find acupuncture, massage services, cupping, cryotoning, localized cryotherapy, reiki, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, stretching, Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy and infrared sauna and cold tub sessions.

Parker opened Across the Stitch, an embroidery brick and mortar, in November of 2023 after years of success selling online and at farmers markets. She specializes in cross stitching, embroidery and T-shirt printing—customizing items like stuffed animals, bags, polo shirts, sweatshirts, onesies and hats.
