Several local business and nonprofit leaders were honored for their contributions to the community and the Round Rock Chamber during the chamber's annual awards banquet held at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center on Feb. 15.

The award winners are:
  • Ambassador of the Year—Steffanie Bartlett, Community Impact;
  • Emerging Leader—Oscar Rodriguez, Round Rock Express;
  • Entrepreneur of the Year—Daniel Hernandez, First Crush Tastings/CENTRO Event Space;
  • Investor of the Year —Tammy Young, Central Texas Refuse;
  • Big Boy Hester Small Business of the Year—Alfred's Catering;
  • Business of the Year—Kalahari Resorts & Conventions;
  • Best Place to Work—Williamson County Children's Advocacy Center;
  • Newcomer of the Year—East/West Manufacturing;
  • Citizen of the Year—Writ Baese, Hill Country Payroll; and
  • Lifetime Achievement Award—Judy McLeod, Capital Idea Williamson County Taskforce Committee.
Greater Round Rock Community Foundation awards:
  • Innovation in Philanthropy Award—Yvonne and Bill Stoetzel, Annie's Way; and
  • 2022 Philanthropy Award—Tom Ramsey, Snappy Snacks.
