Frontier Bank of Texas is expanding to 7509 O’Connor Drive, Round Rock. Legacy Senior Residences II is coming to 1551 Red Bud Lane, Round Rock, in August 2022. Construction on the affordable senior housing development began in April 2021. According to permitting information from the city of Round Rock, the development will include about 200 units of affordable senior housing with studio, one- and two-bedroom units being available in a three-story structure. Lone Star Kolaches is coming to the former location of Little Red Wagon Hamburgers at 1207 E. Palm Valley Blvd., Round Rock, this October. Owners Massey and Allen Wallace own six other Lonestar Kolaches locations in the Austin area, all of which offer traditional sweet kolache pastries, egg kolaches and sausage kolaches. Other kolache varietals on the menu include barbecue, pizza roll, Philly cheesesteak and chicken quesadilla. Little Red Wagon closed in January.
Rockler Woodworking and Hardware will open at 2701-A Parker Drive, Round Rock, in the La Frontera Village shopping center in late September. The Minnesota-based chain specializes in tools and woodworking materials such as exclusive finishes and paints.
