Modifications will be made to Pflugerville's curbside chipping services this fall. Pflugerville City Council approved changes to the city's waste management contract Aug. 25 and will now offer a tree limb pickup service through Waste Connections, a trash and recyclables pickup provider.

Pflugerville currently offers a monthly curbside chipping service. Come Oct. 1, bundled limbs up to 4 feet long will be eligible for free pickup services or can be taken to the city's recycling center at 15500 Sun Light Near Way, Pflugerville.

Waste Connections will collect unbundled tree limbs of up to 4 cubic yards following the Oct. 1 transition, per an Aug. 26 city news release. The service costs $35 per scheduled pickup, per the release. Pickups can be scheduled and paid for online or by calling 512-282-3508.
