The Round Rock ISD board of trustees and district staff will host public meetings from Jan. 21-28 for the community to provide feedback on possible attendance boundary changes.

At the meetings, staff will share proposed boundary changes, current demographic information and anticipated impacts on enrollment, according to a Jan. 8 news release. In addition, community members will be able to provide feedback on the proposed changes.

The forums will take place at “campuses expected to be impacted,” per the release. The campuses include four elementary schools—England, Herrington, Caraway and Joe Lee Johnson—as well as one middle school, C.D. Fulkes.

Several preliminary concept plans are in the works, according to a board discussion in November. Changes are being considered in advance of the opening of Elementary School No. 35 in the 2021-22 academic year as well as addressing capacity concerns at several of the district’s campuses.

The board is expected to vote on changes at a Feb. 20 meeting.
