The company plans to hire 1,500 employees in advance of its November opening, according to a a June 26 Workforce Solutions Rural Capital Area news release.
Kalahari, in conjunction with WSRCA, will host a virtual hiring fair June 30 for prospective employees. Informational seminars and interviews are slotted for 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. via Zoom, per the release, with interviews following initial presentations. Interested applicants can register for the job fair here, and additional materials are available on Kalahari's website.
Currently 47 jobs are listed on Kalahari's careers page the Round Rock location, with positions including lifeguards, managerial staff, culinary staff and information technology work, among others.
Select candidates may be eligible for Kalahari's exchange program, in which they will work paid summer internships in Wisconsin. Following the three-month training period, employees will return to work at Kalahari's Round Rock location in the fall.
