The last few months have seen several new businesses either open or have announced they are coming to the area. From coffee shops to convenience stores to car washes, the following list details some of those businesses.

Hutto Liquor, located at 525 Chris Kelley Blvd #200, will have a ribbon cutting July 7 from 11 a.m.-noon. The shop, which offers a variety of liquor and mixers, opened in late March. Austin-based lawn and garden wholesale distribution company Exaco Trading Co. broke ground on its future Pflugerville location at the corner of Impact Way and Helios Way on May 27. The 42,000-square-foot office, showroom and distribution center will be an upgrade from the current 28,000-square-foot center located at 10203 B Metropolitan Drive, Austin. The 7,000-square-foot showroom will have about a dozen models for people to see before making a purchase. The location is estimated to be complete by the end of 2021. www.exaco.com

A new car wash business called Let it Shine is coming to Pflugerville after purchasing a 1.24-acre lot at the corner of Wells Branch Parkway and Heatherwilde Boulevard, according to a June news release from Evergreen Commercial Real Estate, which helped broker the purchase. The planned opening date is November 2022, and the website is under construction.

Information from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation states construction of a new QuikTrip location at 3101 E. Pecan St., Pflugerville, is slated to begin construction in mid-July. The TDLR document states the new build will cost $525,000 and will clock in at 4,993 square feet. QuikTrip is a national convenience store chain that first opened in 1958 and is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, according to its website. Site work is underway for a Black Rock Coffee Bar at the corner of Gattis School Road and FM 685 in Hutto. Black Rock Coffee Bar serves hot and iced coffee, smoothies and non caffeinated beverages. This will be the sixth Texas location for the brand, with existing shops in Austin and Round Rock. Construction is estimated to be complete by the end of August, according to representatives with American Retail Contractors LLC. https://br.coffee


A Chipotle Mexican Grill is expected to open at the Hanson's Corner expansion at 326 Ed Schmidt Blvd. in Hutto. The Hanson's Corner expansion is being built as a shell building that will have lease space available for businesses. Chipotle Mexican Grill is expected to be open by January 2022, according to Megan Frey, vice president of development and acquisitions for Endeavor Real Estate Group, the company that owns the property. The eatery is known for its build-your-own burritos, bowls, tacos and salads. www.chipotle.com

Construction has started on a Dutch Bros. Coffee at 90 Chris Kelley Blvd. in Hutto. The double lane drive-thru coffee shop is expected to open in September, according to Dave Burggraaf, managing director at Evergreen Commercial Real Estate. The Dutch Bros. A UPS store located inside the H-E-B at 5000 Gattis School Rd., Ste 100, Hutto, is scheduled to open July 15. The store will offer shipping, print, faxing, notary and packing services.
