Visit this locally-owned organic roastery to split its signature coffee flight with a friend or date on a comfy leather couch. Choose four drinks of the same temperature and milk type, either the special lattes with artwork, or any of its four organic coffee beans in espresso or long black form. For food, try the pastries, banana bread or tamales. All of its organic fair trade coffee is roasted in house—the place smells delicious—and 25% of its profits go to charity.

Malone Speciality Coffee

Signature lattes, nitro cold brew, butter coffee and power smoothies are just a few of the categories accompanying traditional drinks on this menu. Daredevils can try the spicy latte with cayenne pepper or the dirty chai, a spicy-sweet chai latte with espresso. All of its coffee is roasted on a vintage Diedrich drum roaster at its roastery in North Austin. Moon Milk, this coffee shop’s signature sweet cream, is a seven-ingredient family recipe that can be added to any coffee drink or latte—and it can be made dairy-free upon request. Its house-made cold brew is a local favorite and its drip coffee flavors rotate on a weekly basis, but the eye-catcher on the drink menu are the blenders—frozen house-made cold brew coffee in multiple flavors: mocha, vanilla, caramel, cookies ‘n cream and latte.
