A multifamily housing development set on 30 acres of land in south Hutto is set to be completed in 2025.

According to a news release from developer Empire Group of Companies, Village at Hutto Station broke ground and began construction Aug. 28.

The details

Per the news release, a $62.4 million loan to fund the project was secured from Arbor Realty. The development will include:
  • 276 one-, two- and three-bedroom rental units, ranging from 680 to 1,300 square feet
  • Private backyards
  • Smart home technology packages
  • Community amenities, such as a resort-style pool and jacuzzi, barbecue and fire pits, fitness center, clubhouse, walking trails, and a dog park
The development will consist of a mix of one-story attached and detached homes, as previously reported by Community Impact, and be bordered by the county’s new Southeast Loop, which will help manage traffic in and out of the area.
