A major California manufacturer is expanding into Texas, and a groundbreaking for the new facility is planned for later this month.
Advanced door machinery company Kval is building a new site at Hutto's Innovation Business Park, located at 1591 Innovation Blvd., according to a release from the city.
A groundbreaking for the facility will take place Aug. 26 at 10 a.m., and the release states guests may enter the site through a temporary access road on the east side of Innovation Boulevard.
The new 52,000-square-foot facility represents Kval's first expansion outside of California, and it will significantly improve the company's ability to service its growing business in Texas and beyond, the release states.
