Community members will fill in the mural during a "paint by numbers" event Aug. 12.
According to a city announcement, the goal of the mural is "to create a vibrant art piece that represents the quality of life of the city of Pflugerville."
The dimensions of the mural will be approximately 40 feet by 5 feet. The artist selected to design and paint the mural will receive a $5,000 stipend.
