For the city of Pflugerville, language in the dashboard states there were 137 new COVID cases in the last 14 days and 62 cases in the last 21 days. City staff confirmed that means there were 62 new cases in the 7-day window that took place 21 days ago from July 9-15 and 137 new cases within the 7-day window that took place from July 16-22.

The COVID-19 surveillance dashboard, which provides pandemic figures curated by Austin Public Health, is reporting that the Pflugerville area has the highest number of new cases in Travis County as of July 30.

With 8,955 total and 247 COVID-19 cases in the last seven days, the 78660 ZIP code surpasses nearby ZIP codes 78753 and 78758, which have reported 4,662 and 4,049 total cases, respectively.

According to the data, cases in the Pflugerville area appear to be increasing rapidly.

APH figures show 62 new cases reported in the 78660 ZIP code July 9-15 and 137 new cases from July 16-22.


Information from APH states as of May 28, ZIP codes in Travis County with the highest count of new cases are updated each Friday and reflect the prior seven-day period ending on Thursday.
