North Austin’s O’daku Sushi has announced its upcoming closure in late April.

What to know

O’daku Sushi offers Korean and Japanese cuisine featuring entrees such as donburi, katsu, noodles, bibimbap, bento, stir fry and more.

In a Facebook post, the business stated its last day of business will be on April 30. The owners of the business are opening a new concept in the location— Dam-A K Noodle Bar—in mid-June.

An employee at the business said Dam-A K Noodle Bar will offer Korean noodle dishes featuring traditional curries and options such as black bean noodles. Noodles will be cooked in flames to be given a different flavor, the employee said.

“We will be the first Korean noodle bar to utilize flames in our cooking to provide flexibility in the ingredients yet amazing flavor no matter what,” the business stated in its Facebook post.
