Pan-Asian fried and hot chicken slingers Spicy Boys on July 22 opened its third location in Austin. The new food trailer is located at Fairweather Cider Co., 10609 Metric Blvd., Ste. 108A, Austin. Spicy Boys offers customers a variety of fried chicken options, including sandwiches, chicken wings and boneless bites available in signature sauces such as Thai BBQ or lemon Sichuan. Southern kitchen Little Ola’s Biscuits, a new restaurant concept from Central Austin restaurant Olamaie, opened July 16 in the Wells Branch area of North Austin. Little Ola’s, located at 14735 Bratton Lane, Austin, is operating as a takeout-only service, and orders can be placed online. Chicken Salad Shoppe in early August opened its first dine-in location inside the Furniture Mall of Texas, located at 12901 N. I-35, Bldg. 3, Ste. 300, Austin. Local business Mekato in mid-July began selling out of the Kitchen United Mix ghost kitchen at 8023 Burnet Road, Austin. Trudy's Tex-Mex on July 30 held a reopening party at its location at 8820 Burnet Road, Austin, after the restaurant underwent renovations.
