The Legend of Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind - A Tall Tale


The Little Walnut Creek branch library is hosting Literature Live!, which brings stories to life with tabletop puppetry, to explore The Legend of Sally Ann Thunder Ann Whirlwind. The event is recommended for ages 5 and up.Red Haute: ‘Love, Audrey’

Organized by the Women’s Symphony League, the Valentine’s Day luncheon and children’s fashion show will benefit the Austin Symphony Orchestra. Snacks inspired by Audrey Hepburn’s movies will be served during the fashion show.

Cupid’s Undie Run


The annual fun run will kick off with drinking and mingling before participants head out for a 1-mile run, which ends with a dance party. Proceeds will go toward research on neurofibromatosis, a genetic nervous system disorder.

The Art of Dr. Seuss: 25 years through the wrong end of the telescope

An exhibit showcasing the artwork of the late Ted Geisel, or Dr. Seuss, will be on display at Ao5 Gallery, allowing visitors to explore pieces from his collection that were never shared with the public prior to his passing. Certain works also include a signature from his wife, Audrey Geisel.Austin Entertains 2024 Sip and Savor

Benefitting the Junior League of Austin, the fundraiser will highlight the area’s leading female chefs, bartenders and culinary industry leaders through food, drinks and live music. The event will raise funds for JLA’s Food in Tummies program, aimed at addressing food insecurity in East Austin and Del Valle. Nonprofit Rodeo Austin is hosting concerts for over 15 country artists as part of its ProRodeo & Concert series. Some of the featured artists include William Clark Green, La Fiera de Ojinaga, Ashley McBryde and Wynonna Judd. The concert follows ProRodeo events, such as bull riding, mutton busting and barrel racing. Ticket sales began Jan. 19.
