The restaurant offers khao man gai, or Thai-style Hainanese chicken rice made with poached or fried chicken. Also on the menu is fried pork belly with rice and fried chicken skins. Customers can dine in or use the counter service for to-go orders.
The restaurant is owned by Thai Changthong who is also co-owner of Thai Kun at the Domain Northside. While P Thai's menu is small for now, Changthong plans to implement specials in the future.
“My goal is to bring Thai Chinese food to Austin, bringing Yaowarat, which is the name of Chinatown in Bangkok,” Changthong said.
