The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and Liberty Hill Police Department will be conducting a joint traffic operation beginning Sept. 19 at 7 a.m. and concluding Sept. 20 at 5 p.m., according to a news release. The purpose of the operation is to protect lives and enforce the traffic laws and license and weight regulations on Hwy. 29 between Liberty Hill and the Georgetown city limits, the release said. WCSO and LHPD will primarily focus on the enforcement of the posted speed limit and trucks failing to secure loads and overweight limits.
