At regional meetings in March and April, Austin ISD is gathering input from the public on the development of its facility master plan, Executive Director of Facilities Paul Turner said.
"The community is going to need to be very involved and engaged," he said, adding: "We're hopeful that we will get a lot of good feedback."
Once it is complete, the facility master plan will outline the current status and future use of district facilities. It will also help guide capital improvement development and support planning for future bond elections. The district is working to develop the FMP by June.
Members of the community will have the opportunity to provide feedback on issues under consideration for inclusion in the FMP at four upcoming meetings:
