From Fox 7 Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher: The rain faucet has shut off. After a couple of soggy days, things will be rapidly drying out as the Austin area heads toward the weekend. High pressure is moving on in, which means more sinking air and that typically leads to less cloud cover. Look for lots of sunshine over the next few days, with temperatures warming a few degrees into the upper 80s to around 90. Expect a strong cold front early next week that drops highs to the mid-70s.
