From Fox 7 Weather Meteorologist Chelsea Andrews:
On Tuesday and Wednesday, moisture left over from Tropical Storm Pilar will funnel scattered showers from South Texas into the Austin area.
Beginning Wednesday night, a cold front will approach from the north, bringing an increase in shower and thunderstorm activity Thursday and Friday.
Along with a welcome cool-down, daytime highs in the mid-80s and nighttime lows in the low-70s, we’ll see two to three inches of rain in the Hill Country and half an inch to an inch of rain along and east of the I-35 corridor.
