Liberty Hill City Council approved the site plan for a 57.9-acre multifamily development Sept. 10.

The Mansions at Liberty Hill will consist of duplexes and offer 420 units at 250 Grand Liberty Parkway, according to agenda documents.

What’s going on?

Each unit in the development will have its own driveway, according to the documents. Additionally, there will be on-site amenities, including an amenity center and pool, according to the documents.

The project was made feasible by recent agreements with Georgetown and Round Rock that procured increased water supply for Liberty Hill, according to the documents.

However, to ensure the amenity center and pool are feasible, additional assessments will be needed on a rolling basis as the city’s water needs evolve. The site plan was approved with conditions to give the city discretion over future water allocations, according to the documents.

What else?

Wastewater service to the community will depend on the completion of projects that the city has already begun to improve its wastewater system, according to the documents.

No one will be allowed to live in the development, which currently has not disclosed a timeline for completion, until water and wastewater services are connected, according to the documents.
