TPH Academy, a new sports training program, has begun accepting admissions into its new Austin-area branch.
The school opened its doors July 1 and began its academic year Aug. 18. The academy is open to student-athletes in grades 4-12.
The details
Stan Brown, TPH Austin’s director and head of academics, said the four main components of the TPH Academy experience are: sport-specific training and instruction; sports performance training and instruction; an individualized academic experience; and mentorship and personal development.
“Regardless of the individual's chosen sport or discipline, we believe there is a path for them through TPH Academy,” Brown said. “In [2025-26], we have student athletes across ice hockey, soccer, softball and volleyball. With The Crossover being a true multi-sport destination, and with Austin being such an athletically diverse market, we expect this list to grow for [2026-27].”
What else?
TPH Academy has 18 branches throughout North America and Spain. The Austin branch is the program’s first location in Texas.
