Owned and led by oral surgeon Dr. Shouvik Ponnusamy, the practice will offer multidisciplinary specialty care with treatment in endodontics, periodontics and oral surgery.
Dr. Ponnusamy said the practice will begin with services such as wisdom teeth removal and dental implants, and as the business grows, it will start introducing other specialty services.
Niva Dental Specialists is the first oral surgery practice in Leander, and the space will include a 4,100-square-foot, multidisciplinary conference room that will be used for co-managed cases.
Dr. Ponnusamy said he is "really excited to work with the Leander, Cedar Park communities and serve as its first oral surgery practice."
