Incumbent Republican Tom Maynard won the race for State Board of the Education District 10 against Democrat Judy Jennings.

Maynard earned 56.34 percent of the vote against Jennings' 43.65 percent, according to the Texas Secretary of State.

At a Williamson County Republicans watch party, Incumbent State Board of Education member Tom Maynard declared victory in the District 10 race.

Maynard said he is proud of the work he has accomplished on the board so far, and he looks forward to seeing it through.

"We work for all the 1.8 million people in District 10," he said. "And we work hard to education all of them."

Maynard leads the race for District 10 with 56.10 percent of the vote, compared with challenger Judy Jennings' 43.8 percent. 546,111 votes have been counted so far.

Incumbent State Board of Education member Tom Maynard continues to lead the race for District 10, with 83 of 615 precincts reporting.

Maynard has earned 54.92 percent of the total vote, including early votes, according to the Texas Secretary of State.

Challenger Judy Jennings has earned 45.07 percent of the vote so far. A total of 409,288 votes have been counted so far, including early votes.

Incumbent State Board of Education member Tom Maynard leads the race for District 10, according to early voting results from the Secretary of State.

Maynard has earned 60.18 percent of the vote so far, compared to challenger Judy Jennings' 39.81 percent.

A total of 197,383 votes were cast in the District 10 race during early voting, according to the Secretary of State.

Incumbent State Board of Education member Tom Maynard will join fellow Williamson County Republicans for an election night watch party at the Williamson Conference Center in the Wingate Hotel, 1209 N. I-35, Round Rock.

Williamson County Republican Party Chairman Bill Fairbrother will emcee the event. Maynard faces Democrat Judy Jennings in the race for the SBOE District 10 seat. District 10 includes Williamson and Bell counties and portions of Travis County on the I-35 corridor.
