After school district voters passed Leander ISD’s $454.4 million bond package on Nov. 7, the district plans to begin design and construction on the bond projects, such as several new schools, agricultural barns and stadium and classroom expansions.

“We're trying to get as many [projects] moving as quick as we can," said Jimmy Disler, chief facilities and operations officer for LISD.

The LISD board of trustees received a presentation on the bond authorization project schedule at its meeting Dec. 7. The schedule outlined when each project, including six new schools, is expected to begin and end.
