Melody Maples will serve as the principal of Stiles Middle School.[/caption] Melody Maples will be the new principal at Stiles Middle School,  Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell announced Thursday. “Ms. Maples is a passionate leader with a strong curriculum and instruction background,” Troxell said. “She believes in creating a community focused on student success. I am confident in her ability to build upon the incredible culture that Stiles [Middle Schoo] is known for in our district.” Maples has experience in school administration at McNeil High School and Walsh Middle School in Round Rock ISD. She also served as a social studies teacher and coach in RRISD. “I am excited to be joining the Leander ISD family. It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to work alongside the amazing staff of Stiles Middle School and serve the Spartan community,” Maples said in a statement. Maples has a bachelor’s degree from Winona State University in Minnesota and a master’s degree from Concordia University in Austin.
