Austin Eye will open a new Westlake eye care and surgery center July 29 at 2700 Bee Caves Road, Austin. The practice specializes in surgical eye care including laser lens replacement, cataract surgery and LASIK, according to owner Dr. Shannon Wong. The new 20,500-square-foot location will feature 15 exam rooms and an ambulatory surgical center with three operating rooms, and it will include three ophthalmologists; three optometrists; and a supporting staff of nurses, technicians and other staff.
