TexARTS Association, a nonprofit performing and visual arts organization located at 2300 Lohmans Spur, Lakeway, will launch a new learning program for area students Sept 8. TexARTS Performing Arts School, or T-PAS, will act as a small, arts-based learning program that will meet two days per week. Students can participate in their district’s remote learning program and take two preforming arts classes per day from the TexARTS’ studios, which will adhere to strict COVID-19 protocols. The group will offer socialization, supplemental arts instruction and a consistent environment for students in grades four through eight, according to Executive Director Jarret Mallon.

“We hope T-PAS will be a solution for students interested in the performing arts as well as for area families and working parents as they navigate the demands of remote learning,” Mallon said.
