Owner LaQuita Wilder uses her grandmother’s recipe to bake pound cakes featuring a modern, creative twist. The home-based bakery serves whole cakes, mini cakes, cake pops and cake jars with new varieties featured every week, including lemon, red velvet, chocolate, Snickers, caramel, banana pudding, and cookies and cream cakes.

Pressure Cakes Bakery receives orders through Facebook Messenger with options for pickup and delivery, and participates in various markets in the Georgetown area. Wilder said she is considering opening a storefront in the future as the business is growing faster than she anticipated.
