The Williamson County and Cities Health District confirmed 46 additional cases of the coronavirus on June 18, bringing the total to 1,114. Of those, 627 have recovered, per the report.

Currently, 12 patients are hospitalized, six are in intensive care and two are on a ventilator, it said.

The WCCHD also reported 48% of beds and 62% of ventilators are available.

On June 17, the county had 1,068 total cases and its 31st and 32nd deaths.

While the numbers continue to increase, county officials said they do not intend on placing any new restrictions or closures. Instead, the county will focus on the number of patients in the hospital, in intensive care and on ventilators. County officials maintain the importance of wearing masks and maintaining 6 feet of distance.
