Austin's 7 Day Forecast, Aug. 24-30[/caption]



After a string of blazing hot temperatures, the weather is starting to cool off in the Austin area.

Additionally, Central Texas could be in for a soaking late this week and into the weekend. The remnants of Tropical Storm Harvey could re-form in the Gulf of Mexico, and although there is a great deal of uncertainty in the forecast track, that system could move north and soak parts of South and Central Texas. Heavy rain at times is possible over the weekend.

The Austin area can also expect much cooler weather as well with highs in the 80s for a few days.
