WHAT WE REPORTED Construction on Fareground—a downtown dining hub that modernizes and repurposes the lobby and plaza at One Eleven Congress—began Sept. 16, 2015. The space promises to feature an eatery hall with areas for meetings, co-working and other activities.

THE LATEST Planning is almost complete for the outdoor courtyard space and customer area at 111 Congress Ave. ELM Restaurant Group, the team behind Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden and 24 Diner, is curating the food hall and will be bringing a second Easy Tiger location to the space.

WHAT'S NEXT The food hall will open in September with five additional yet-to-be-named restaurant concepts.
