The 22nd annual gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts
will take place in Austin from Thursday to Sunday. The event will feature a number of attractions including ROT flat track races, a military bike giveaway, a danger jump and a Friday night parade and party. Prices vary by event. Friday, June 9: La La Land outdoor screening
Mobile Loaves & Fishes presents a free outdoor screening of La La Land and a live jazz concert. Attendees are invited to bring chairs and blankets. Friday, June 9: Music on the Square
The city of Georgetown is
kicking off its summer live concert series this Friday in front of the Williamson County Courthouse. Attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs, blankets, outside food and drinks. In conjunction with the National Equality March for Unity and Pride in Washington, D.C., the LGBTQ community is marching near the state capitol. The march will begin on the south steps of the Capitol with speeches from activists, organizers and leaders. Speakers include Annise Parker, former mayor of Houston. Free.
