There’s something for everyone this weekend in the Austin area, including live music at Gruene Hall, kite flying in Georgetown and more. Here are six events for locals from May 15-17.

Kyle Fair
The three-day fair will feature live music, plus carnival rides, food, drinks and vendors. Attendees can vote in the fair’s People’s Choice Awards for food and drink contests, including ribs, fajitas and margaritas, by paying $5 per category at the competition booth during the event.
Spring Fling and Community Playdate
The family-oriented business CedarParkMomVlog is hosting a community playdate. Attractions include touch a truck, inflatables, live music, face painting, vendor market and food.
City of Creedmoor’s Mayfest 2026
This annual event will take place in Creedmoor—just outside Buda—and feature craft and food vendors, games, a car and tractor show that also includes kids' cars and more. Awards for the car show begin at 1 p.m.
Feel Good Fest
The SIMS Foundation will host a live music event at Radio East featuring performances by Elijah Delgado, Cigarettes at Sunset, Innity Song and Night Cap. All proceeds will support mental health care and substance use recovery for professionals in the music industry.
Still Rammin’ Fest
The music festival at Gruene Hall will feature a lineup of honky tonk and country artists and will benefit the SIMS Foundation.
Color the Sky Kite Day
Locals are invited to gather at Garey Park to enjoy a picnic and fly kites.

Lost Pines Art Center Spring Gala
Lost Pines Art Center’s annual gala supports the center’s arts ongoing programming and new initiatives. The center serves as a gallery, classroom and community arts venue, with rotating exhibits, art classes, workshops, events and more. Admission to the gallery is free.
