A new hotel is headed for Red River Street in Austin: 1 Hotel Austin. The new destination will have 252 guest rooms, 60 of them being luxury suites, restaurants, a spa and yoga studio, according to a news release.

1 Hotel Austin will flow alongside Waller Creek, with architecture inspired by modern Hill Country ranches and Texas river houses. Reservations for the hotel are now open, bringing luxury guest rooms, dining options and wellness spaces.

1 Hotel Austin and Johnny and Kasie Curiel of Fonda Fina Hospitality are partnering to bring Alteño Austin to the hotel, according to previous Community Impact reporting. The new restaurant will serve Mexican flavor inspired by the Jaliscan Highlands.

The hotel will also feature Watr, a Japanese-inspired restaurant on the 16th floor, with cocktails, views and a DJ.
A café and wine bar, Neighbors, will also be connected to the hotel with juices, coffee, light bites, draft cocktails and wine.
Activities to do
For guests centered on wellness and mindfulness, 1 Hotel Austin will offer a yoga studio and a Bamford Wellness Spa location, drawing inspiration from Hill Country bathhouses, according to a news release.
