The location, a former Randalls grocery store, will span 97,000 square feet and feature a two-story porch with views of Lake Austin. There will be underground parking and access to multiple elevators, escalators and cart-escalators inside the store. H-E-B Curbside and home delivery services will be available.
The store will have a full-service pharmacy and several dining options, including a True Texas BBQ restaurant, a SouthFlo Pizza—an H-E-B chain serving up New York-style, made-to-order pizzas—and a coffee shop serving specialty coffee and breakfast tacos. The store will also have an extensive beer and wine selection with a sampling station, a Blooms floral department and full-service catering.
Construction for the project began in October 2019 and was expected to be completed by this summer; however, the project was interrupted by pandemic-related delays, according to a news release. www.heb.com
