Plants and preservation: A dozen Earth Day events to enjoy in the Austin area

The Parks and Trails Foundation of Cedar Park will host its annual Earth Day celebration at Lakeline Park, featuring a variety of local nonprofit organizations, educational opportunities and food. Participants can also bid in a silent auction to support local parks and trails.

The Texas Science & Natural History Museum will host an event featuring hands-on activities for all ages that explore various Earth processes. There will also be an activity where participants can turn plastic waste into fashion designs, while supplies last.
