TopSpin Tennis Academy
The tennis coaching facility is a family-oriented learning center for children, junior and adult tennis players. The 19,136-square-foot facility features two full-sized indoor tennis courts, four indoor red and pickleball court, a full restroom with showers, a small cafe and full pro shop services offering gears, athletic clothing and string services. The academy is headed by coach Dave Ndinya—a Division I athlete and coach of U.S. Open player Mary Gambale.
Owner Melissa Perez launched Cedar Park’s newest women’s boutique at Lakeline Mall in late April. The boutique offers a selection of clothing, accessories, jewelry and shoes in-store and online.The store’s online catalog showcases inventory and new arrivals.
A fusion of American and Japanese cuisines, the new Mochinut location features the company’s nationally recognized, uniquely star-shaped doughnuts. The cafe-style restaurant utilizes rice flour not only for its doughnut creations—which originated in Hawaii—but also mochi balls and Korean hot dogs. The Mochinut menu also includes boba and other Asian-inspired beverages, as well as soft serve ice cream.

Little Beijing
The restaurant is now serving Chinese food for takeout and delivery in the Cedar Park-Leander area. The concept offers a variety of Chinese and other Asian dishes, including Kung Pao Chicken, beef and broccoli and egg rolls.
The indoor soccer facility and youth development academy offer year-round training, leagues, and field rentals for recreational and competitive play. The Cedar Park-based venue focuses on technical skill development through academy programs, clinics, seasonal camps and structured pathways for players of varying levels, while also hosting events, private rentals and community watch parties.
Founded more than 45 years ago as a California neighborhood pizzeria, the brand has grown into a regional chain with roughly 300 locations. Owner Rajeev Dewan will open the Cedar Park installment of the family-oriented pizza chain. Menu staples include its signature crispy, curly pepperoni and a range of classic pizzas made with fresh ingredients.

Salt Traders Coastal Cooking
A new location for Salt Traders Coastal Cooking is planned for a new development along the Cedar Park-Leander border, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The $1.72 million project calls for the construction of an 8,175-square-foot restaurant shell building, with work expected to begin in September and wrap up by June 2027.

Day Maker Half Day Cafe
A new location for Day Maker Half Day Cafe is also planned in the New Hope-Scottsdale Development, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The $1.21 million project includes the construction of a 5,300-square-foot restaurant shell building, with work expected to begin in September and conclude by June 2027. The concept launched its first location in South Austin in late 2024 and hails from the same restaurant team behind Jack Allen’s Kitchen and Salt Traders.
A new location for Pinthouse Pizza is also expected to join the New Hope-Scottsdale Development and is slated to begin construction in September, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The $7.43 million project will include a 13,640-square-foot restaurant and brewery facility, along with a covered canopy, outdoor beer garden and full site development, with completion expected by June 2027. Pinthouse has five existing locations: three in Austin, one in Round Rock and another in San Antonio.
The planned sports and social gaming venue set to open in Cedar Park, according to a recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The concept will feature sweepstakes gaming, pool, darts and a full bar in a 2,300-square-foot renovated retail space, according to the company’s website. The locale aims to create a lively nightlife spot with food, drinks and community-focused entertainment. The neighborhood joint is anticipated to open by the end of the year, according to state records.
AMHA recently celebrated its five-year anniversary at The Crossover, right on the Cedar Park-Leander line. AMHA is the major governing body overseeing youth hockey in Austin, according to its website. A spokesperson for the group said it recently joined The Pond Hockey Club to create a new youth hockey community with “an intercity league, tournament teams and travel teams” all bearing a new name, the Austin Capitals.

Leo’s FunZone
The new locally owned play space and toy store offers crafts and DIY projects, play areas for different age groups, and thoughtfully curated toys and activities, according to owner Effy Yulghun. Leo’s FunZone also hosts birthday parties and sells toys on its website, with an emphasis on natural materials.
