Leander ISD will be closed through Feb. 4, according to the district. School is expected to resume Feb. 7, but campuses will communicate with families if there are any changes.
Saturday activities Feb. 5 may resume depending on weather, but coaches and directors will communicate updates.
The district will later announce how the missed school days will be made up, according to the Feb. 3 update. The school district has one bad weather makeup day April 18.

Leander ISD has canceled school Feb. 3 and may cancel class Feb. 4 due to approaching winter weather, according to the district.
The district will announce whether school will resume Feb. 4 before 2 p.m. Feb. 3. Additionally, activities and meal service are canceled for Feb. 3.
A winter storm warning is in effect across Central Texas, including Travis and Williamson counties, from 3 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 3. The National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio is forecasting ice accumulation of up to a quarter inch in the warning area and sleet in some areas.
