Cedar Park City Council on July 10 authorized an agreement with Millis Development and Construction to complete the Brushy Creek Sports Park Improvements Project.
The six-month project is expected to cost $1.73 million, according to agenda documents.

As part of the project, fencing and nets will be added around sports fields, according to the documents.
Additionally, the project provides for improvements to the softball field’s infield and drainage system, a parking lot expansion, a new metal maintenance building, and other associated improvements.

The project is funded with 2022 general obligation bond funds, according to the documents, and the $1.7 million price tag is within the originally budgeted amount.
Parks and Recreation staff will coordinate with the construction company to limit the impact on existing park usage.
