Hot Off the Press: The Rise and Revival of American Wood Type

Discover the history and revival of American wood type through the Rob Roy Kelly American Wood Type Collection at UT Austin. This exhibit celebrates letterpress printing through historic tools, prints by local artists, and contemporary design.

Join us for the opening reception on November 12, from 12–1:30 p.m., on the first floor of the UT Administration Building on Guadalupe Street. Enjoy a hands-on letterpress postcard printing experience, hear from a member of Austin’s letterpress community, and enjoy light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public!
