A Denver, Colorado-based breakfast restaurant will make its first entry into Texas at 1700 S. Lamar Blvd., Ste. 301, May 28, serving traditional breakfast plates, twists on classics, and morning cocktails.
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery was founded by brothers Adam and Jon Schlegel, envisioning a goal of re-energizing the breakfast experience, Chief Operating Officer Peter Gaudreau said.
"So how do we do that?" Gaudreau said. "We start early. Cocktails are part of the party."
Snooze offers 10 different types of mimosas and another 10 morning cocktails including a Bangkok Bloody.
On the food side of the menu, Snooze serves variations of classics, including pineapple upside-down pancakes and Chilaquiles Benedict. Snooze also offers a pick-two option for its eggs Benedict choices.
For its first Austin location, Snooze will source ingredients from local providers including Mill King Dairy, El Milagro, Vital Farms and 44 Acre Ranch.
Starting with the grand opening day, 1 percent of all sales will go back to the community through various avenues, Gaudreau said.
Snooze's second location, on North Lamar Boulevard in Central Austin, is scheduled to open June 10, Gaudreau said.
