The closure applies to the over 13,000 students in Bastrop, Cedar Creek, Red Rock, Rockne and Paige.
Bastrop County is under a wind chill advisory until 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17.
Looking ahead
As of 4 p.m. Jan. 15, no further closures have been made but will be determined based on weather conditions. A decision will be made on Tuesday, Jan. 16, for the following day's schedule.
