Fourth of July Celebration at the Hyatt
Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa will host a family-friendly Fourth of July party with patriotic activities including a parade, events, live music, a western-themed festival and fair-style food. The festival will offer live entertainment at the amphitheater and pavilion, as well as photo opportunities, a mechanical bull and hayrides.

Bastrop Wino Wine Festival
More than 40 wines from a range of Texas wineries, including popular and boutique brands, will be offered at the indoor event. Attendees will receive a wine glass and detailed information about each winery. Festivalgoers are invited to sip their wines while listening to live music and trying food from local vendors.

Corvette Invasion
More than 300 Corvette owners are expected to come together to show off their vehicles at the 11th annual Corvette Invasion. Former Corvette racer Doug Fehan will be the guest speaker. Those in attendance can explore food and merchandise vendors while listening to live music. An awards ceremony will happen inside the Bastrop Convention & Exhibit Center at 1 p.m.

‘Stories Inked In Skin’ Opening Reception
The Bastrop Museum & Visitor Center curators will host an opening night reception for a new exhibit featuring local tattoos and the stories behind them. During the reception, local tattoo artists will provide live demonstrations, as well as Q&As. The exhibit will be on display through Oct. 26.

76th annual McDade Watermelon Festival
The festival will offer activities such as a watermelon-eating contest, a seed-spitting contest, a prized melon auction and other melon-themed events. Additional activities will include a barbecue cook-off, along with live music, a car show, a live auction, parade and more. The day will conclude with a free watermelon feast at 5:30 p.m.

Jack of Hearts 4th annual gala

77th annual Bastrop Homecoming and Rodeo
Nonprofit Bastrop Homecoming will host its annual celebration, which started as a communitywide picnic for those in the armed forces coming home from World War II, at Mayfest Park. Along with the rodeo events, attendees can hear live music, try food trucks, peruse vendors and play games. A parade will also be offered on Aug. 3.
