How we got here
Voters in BISD passed over $500 million in bonds through two initiatives in 2021 and 2023.
These were the first bond proposals to be passed by voters in the district since 2007.

As of the August 2025 bond construction update presented by BISD Director of Construction and Planning Lee Raspberry, multiple projects were about halfway through completion.
