Looking for things to do in your community this October? Here is a list of 12 events happening in the Allen area in the coming weeks.

Armorfest
To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the opening of Armor Brewing Co., the Armorfest celebration will feature Oktoberfest-style events including stein-holding competitions, a beer maiden race, a beer mile run and more, according to the business’s website. The event offers family-friendly activities including glitter tattoos, balloon twister and a wildlife reptile encounter during the daytime portion of the event.

National Night Out
Alongside neighbors and members of the Allen Police Department, attend a block party in the Allen area celebrating National Night Out, a nationwide event that is intended to strengthen relationships between communities and local law enforcement. Block parties are hosted in various neighborhoods throughout the community.

Dallas Hua Yun Chinese Orchestra
See an orchestral performance by the Dallas Hua Yun Chinese Orchestra at the Allen Public Library’s Civic Auditorium. The group performs with a variety of traditional Chinese instruments and is dedicated to Sino-American cultural exchange.
Friday Night Live at The Village
Visit The Grove at The Village at Allen each Friday evening in October to see live music performances. Attendees are encouraged to pick up a meal to-go from a restaurant in the retail center as well as bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the performance by artists from Melody of Hope, a North Texas-based nonprofit that supports live music performances and musicians. The Market at The Village at Allen
Shop an open-air market with vendors including local farmers, artisan food vendors, makers and small businesses at The Grove at The Village at Allen. The market will offer fresh produce, baked treats, handcrafted goods, specialty food and more.

Allen Fall Fest
The family-friendly event will feature local vendors, food trucks, games, an RC Rally, a crafter’s market, a petting zoo, live music and more. Parking will be available at The Edge Recreation Center in Allen Station Park, and overflow parking will be at Allen Public library, with shuttles available from both lots during the event, per the city’s website.
Family Fun Days at The Farm: Barnyard Boo Bash
Enjoy spooky fun at this family-friendly event at The Farm in Allen. The event will include a giant bounce horse, a Halloween obstacle course, lawn games, face painting, festive crafts, local vendors and more.

Like Blippi Tour
See characters from “Blippi” in an interactive live performance featuring music, dancing and more. Visit the Credit Union of Texas Event Center’s website for information on parking and the venue’s bag policy.
Witches’ Brew Wine Walk
Enjoy wines, bites and more from over 20 merchants and restaurants during this Halloween-themed wine walk in Watters Creek Village. The event will also include prizes, giveaways, a swag bag and more.
Movie in the Park
Bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy a showing of the 1993 film “Hocus Pocus” starring Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy. The movie will begin at dusk, around 5 p.m., and concessions will be available for purchase.
League of Legends Worlds 2026: Swiss Stage
Visit the Credit Union of Texas Event Center to watch teams play League of Legends and work to secure their place in the Knockout Stage. The event will be watched worldwide and attract visitors from around the world to Allen, per a city news release. The event center will also host the quarterfinal rounds Nov. 3-6 and the semifinals round Nov. 7-8, which will determine the teams advancing to the World Championship Final.

Paint Your Pet
Visit the Blue House Too Gallery for the monthly Paint Your Pet event. Registration is required, and attendees can send a picture of their pet to staff at the gallery who will pre-outline a canvas.
