Quail Run Park’s new playground opened in early June, Allen Communications Manager Kristi Soto said.

The previous playground structure was installed in 2005. Allen City Council approved spending $399,347 with WeBuildFun, Inc. for park improvements at a January meeting.

Other features at Quail Run Park include basketball courts, benches, grills, picnic tables, benches and a drinking fountain, per the city’s website.
