1. Everything Madeleine now offers pastries, coffee and matcha in Plano
The business specializes in madeleine pastries with a variety of flavors like pistachio raspberry, earl grey, dark chocolate and lemon. Customers can also accompany their pastries with drinks like coffee, the earl grey matcha or the strawberry matcha.
Business owner and pastry chef Seunghee Park studied in Seoul, South Korea, before traveling to Paris and New York.
The business offers snacks from around the world, including chips, candy, cookies and drinks, per its website. Exotic Snack Guys is located within the Allen Premium Outlets next to Latte Factory.
3. Elia Greek Tavern to serve Mediterranean seafood in Richardson
Elia Greek Tavern is set to open a new location in Richardson later this summer, a company representative confirmed.
The restaurant, which currently has one location in Bishop Arts, serves a Mediterranean seafood-focused menu, including branzino, seafood orzo and salmon skewers. The Richardson location is set to include new menu additions alongside customer favorites.
A new Panda Express will be constructed off Randall Street in Denton, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations.
The $2 million new construction will start in June 2027 and is expected to wrap up by January 2028, according to the filing.
The 2,700-square-foot restaurant will have a drive-thru option, as well.
Panda Express is a fast-food Chinese restaurant chain that offers a variety of customizable rice, noodle and protein dishes, according to its website. Some menu items include kung pao chicken, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, broccoli beef and honey walnut shrimp.
Chipotle is planning a July opening date for its Celina location, a company representative confirmed.
The Mexican fast-casual chain is known for customizable burritos and bowls. This will be the restaurant’s first location in Celina.
6. New ownership takes over Amore’s Pasta and Pizza in Grapevine
Grapevine Italian restaurant Amore’s Pasta and Pizza is now open under new ownership.
After a closure under previous owners, Santosh Chitrakar, the new owner, said he reopened the business May 1. For now, he said the menu and recipes remain the same at Amore’s.
Customers can order from a menu that includes pizzas, pastas, salads and desserts, according to the website.
