National construction firm Moss Construction has relocated its North Texas headquarters from McKinney to Allen.
Moss Construction officials marked the occasion at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in late August.
The details
Moss Construction’s services primarily focus on construction management, design-build projects, and solar engineering, procurement and construction projects, a Sept. 3 company news release states.
Projects completed by the company range from high-rise residential and mixed-use developments to educational and sports facilities, per the release. Some Moss Construction projects in North Texas include renovations at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Mansfield Stadium and multifamily development Cypress Creek at Montfort in Dallas.
The specifics
The company’s new Allen office spans 25,815 square feet and supports nearly 150 local employees, the release states.
The office is located in FarmWorks One, a three-story office building located within mixed-use development The Farm in Allen. Moss Construction’s long-term lease in the office runs through July 2036, per the release.
“As our North Texas operations have continued to grow, it became clear that we needed a larger space to support our team and future expansion,” said Jim Cuddihee, Moss Construction’s senior vice president of commercial construction, in the release. “While Moss has been part of the North Texas business community for many years, this move to Allen represents an exciting next chapter that will allow us to better serve our clients and support our employees throughout the region.”
The Allen office will accommodate the company’s expected growth in the region and include capacity for up to 100 workstations, modern meeting rooms and collaborative work areas, per the release.
